DHS Seeks Public Comment on State’s Older Worker Plan

ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Aging Services (DAS) requests public comments on the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) State Plan. The document describes Georgia’s four-year strategy for the statewide management of the SCSEP.
 
Administered by the United States Department of Labor, SCSEP (Title V of the Older Americans Act) provides subsidized employment training, job-search assistance, and supportive services to eligible older Georgians seeking greater financial self-sufficiency.
