 More than 120,000 Georgians have Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.  The number will leap to 160,000 by 2025.  How can Georgia meet the growing need? 

Help shape our state’s first Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias State Plan.  We’re documenting where Georgia is now and what we need to do to improve the lives of people with dementia and their families.

Task Force Operations:

The Georgia Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias Task Force is scheduled to meet June 27, July 25, August 29, September 26, October 24, November 21, and December 19.

Meetings scheduled August through December will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in Metro Atlanta.  For details, contact chdunn@dhr.ga.gov.
